Approach to non painting proposes a horizontal communication between decoration, considered as a minor art, and painting, one of the most important major arts.
This project explores aesthetics and prints used frequently in the 70, palettes, geometric shapes, etc.
In this project, all those patterns are assembled in the surface of the frame by parts, by layers superimposed and spun, planes and pieces or strips, providing depth to the pieces, and giving them a three-dimensional character.
In contemporary life, there's a huge melting pot, stimuli, hybridization, and a fast rhythm of circulation of information. Trends change all the time. Eclecticism and baroque father reality.
It is very difficult to label someone by its expanded and unconnected momentary tastes. These paintings are endeed the materialization of that idea of freedom inscribed in pastiche.
